The Scepter’d Isle rose is a beautiful English shrub rose by David Austin, known for its soft pink, cup-shaped blooms and strong, myrrh-like fragrance. Named after a line in Shakespeare's Richard II, this rose combines elegance with classic charm. The flowers are medium-sized with a high petal count and bloom continuously from late spring through fall. The outer petals are pale pink, while the inner petals are a warmer blush, creating a soft gradient effect.
This rose grows into an upright, bushy shrub with glossy, dark green foliage, adding visual depth and resilience to garden landscapes. Scepter’d Isle is versatile and well-suited for borders, mixed beds, or containers, making it a favourite for garden design.

This is one of my favourite roses. The colour and shape of the bloom is beautiful, and the scent is amazing. The rose arrived looking very healthy, with clear planting instructions, and it is already putting out healthy new growth
