1. Where are your plants grown?
Roses and live plants
- All of our roses (unless specified) and live plants are grown in Canada.
Bulbs/tubers
All of our packaged products are sourced from local and international growers and the grower country is specified on the packaging. Most bulbs and tubers that are internationally sourced come from Holland and the EU.
Imported Roses
We do source imported roses from our Asian growers, these mostly include Japanese roses and retired roses.
2. What grade roses do you carry?
We primarily deal in grade 1 roses, any additional grades carried will be specified as a separate purchasing option under each rose, if available. Our stock is grafted on multiflora root stock that works best for our Canadian climate. We also carry some own root stock. Please assume all roses to be grafted unless specified in the rose description.
3. What are your guarantees and return policies?
We are gardeners too, we try our best to ensure quality products are supplied to all our customers. All products are guaranteed to be true to name.
Roses and live plants
All of our live plants are guaranteed to be true to name. If a plant blooms to be different than labelled, please send us proof of purchase and a picture of the issue.
All of our bare root roses are guaranteed to leaf out in the growing season, please follow the growing instructions provided at purchase.
All tubers/bulbs and seeds
Each and every product is guaranteed to be true to name, if there are any concerns with quality of the tubers, bulbs or seeds delivered, please let us know within 3 days of delivery/purchase. We understand such plants will not bloom for a couple months after delivery, therefore if they are mislabelled, please send us pictures and proof of purchase and we would be happy to help.
4. Why are your prices lower than other sellers and garden centres?
We cannot speak to pricing of other sellers. In this case, lower prices does not equate to inferior quality of plants. For us, we are motivated by a greater purpose than money. We believe our customer service and quality products will speak for itself and it does. Read our many reviews, our website is new but we have been selling for longer than that. We believe in fair business transaction, one that is equally beneficial for seller and buyer.
5. Where are you located?
We are based out of Mississauga, Ontario on Crystal Rose Drive.
6. Can I shop in person at your Mississauga location?
We currently use our Mississauga location for order pick ups only. You are welcome to purchase online and come pick up once you receive a pick up notification. In the growing season, we may add products that you can browse through while you are here to pick up an online order. We do not have store hours for walk-in shopping at this point.

8. I need growing advice with the plants I purchased from Pretty Petals, how do I reach you?
We love troubleshooting and you can always email us questions and concerns. Please try to include pictures so we can give tailored advice and care instructions.
