Roses

  • When planting, please follow the instructions provided with your order, it can also be found here in our Rose Guide.
  • Please let us know if your bare root roses arrived damaged beyond viability within 3 days of delivery. While we do not expect major damages, sometimes there may be minor damages like a bend cane or a broken cane.
  • Do NOT grow bare roots in anything except in ground or plastic planters with drainage holes. No grow bags etc. Doing this will void our growing season warranty.
  • Plant your bare roots immediately, when an order is shipped, tracking details are provided. Please ensure you are ready to receive your order and that you plant your roses immediately.
  • If your bare root rose does not show any growth, please contact us within 21 days. This ensures that we keep an eye on the growth of the bare root, provide tips to help increase survival chances and provide alternate options, if needed.
  •  Please keep in mind that some roses may take a little longer to leaf out, especially during a cooler spring, so a bit of patience might be needed but do let us know so we are aware.
  • While we do everything we can to ensure your roses thrive, we cannot control the weather. Unpredictable conditions like heat waves or freezing temperatures are beyond our reach, so we encourage you to follow our winter care instructions to help your roses through the colder months. In summer months, make sure to water the newly planted roses thoroughly and ensure they are cared for especially if you are away from your garden.
  • Warranty is voided if plants are grown in grow bags. Please only plant in plastic/resin pots or in ground.
  • Some die-back, browning or black cane is expected in the growing season. Please cut off the affected canes 1 inch below the browned dry cane to ensure the die-back does not travel down to the rest of the cane, killing the cane and possibly the entire plant. If the plant dies due to dieback that is not managed, it will not be replaced.
